At New You Boot Camp we decided offering a nutritional programme that was focused just on weight loss wasn’t enough. We wanted to offer our clients more.

With this in mind our award winning team of chefs and nutritionists have developed a new and fresh approach to our nutritional programme within the menus and recipes we offer our clients.

Factors such as stress, sleep deprivation, metabolism, blood sugar balance, inappropriate digestion, food allergies, intolerance and thyroid problems, are areas that require further support with clients facing difficulties in losing weight.

Our new ‘Therapeutic’ nutritional weight loss plan now supports each of these areas as efficiently as possible encouraging detoxification and elimination in a gentle way, enhancing metabolism, energy and digestion by delivering nutrients that support gut flora and fibre requirements whilst never losing sight of the importance of presentation and taste.

The ultimate value of our new programme is that not only will our clients continue to show excellent results in their weight loss goals, but they will do so with potentially more energy and vitality, beautiful skin, improved mood and memory and enhanced general health and well being. Mary Lou

As a qualified Nutritional Therapist (FdSc, Dip ION, ITEC) for 20 years, Mary-Lou Harris has various Complementary Healing strings to her bow. She believes that the body manifests symptoms (including weight) as ‘messages’ that indicate at which level the dysfunction is originating. By working ‘naturopathically’, and supporting body systems to improve from the place of origin, health is reinstated at the root of where it began, as opposed to simply treating the symptom/s. Mary-Lou practices and lectures Nutrition in a Functional Medicine way, and her passion for Nutrition means that she is always studying to stay up to date with the ever changing and growing field of Nutrition. With 3 qualifications behind her, she is presently studying her 4th course which encompasses the recently emerging field of ‘PsychoNeuroImmunology’ combining lifestyle, psychology and stress related conditions with the physical expression of health in the body.

Among many exciting projects, Mary-Lou works with Patrick Holford as one of his main Nutritionists, and represents the Biocare’s online company in both the foods and supplements line. Mary-Lou believes in using food as a therapeutic tool for supporting health, and practices a concept she calls ‘Therapeutic Cooking’. This is the basis for the recipes at New You Boot Camp, which Mary-Lou contributed her expertise in creating. This focuses on not only ‘weight loss’ but the underlying potential reasons for weight management difficulties in people, including the liver, the digestive system, and endocrine related disorders like the thyroid, stress and blood sugar imbalance.

Rosemarie Chamberlin

Rose nutritionistRose Chamberlain is a teacher, certified Chef, Detox and Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist, graduating from the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London in 2014. She is a Brazilian who has lived in England for the past 15 years. She is passionate about healthy living and healthy eating. And have specialised in teaching healthy-cooking classes and holding workshops about healthy-ageing lifestyle and gut health. She has good experience working as a Healthy Chef and Naturopath Nutritional Therapist on retreats.  She also attend clients with one-to-one consultations in person or via Skype. Her areas of interest are the Microbiome, HIV and cancer. And at the moment , she is studying for an MSc in Personalised Nutrition at CNELM – Centre for Nutrition Education & Lifestyle Management in partnership with Middlesex University London.

Rose has been working with New You for the past 3 years. During your stay at New You Boot Camp she will deliver a two hours talk about the role of hormone balance and gut health on weight loss.

She will also be available for one to one consultation when pre-booked.
